Challenge

The Ministry of Heritage chose to preserve an archaeological village in the south, with a unique story that unfolded across history, and to establish a memorial center on site. It called for a topographic model faithful to the place, telling the village story through history, durable enough for long-term public display, yet light and easy to handle and install.

Approach

We designed the site topography and the main houses of the village, alongside lighting and a load-bearing structure. We 3D-printed the model using a combination of FDM and SLA, and finished it with composite materials to achieve strength and long-term durability.

Outcome

A topographic model with a high-quality finish, lightweight yet very strong and durable, serving as the heart of the memorial center and presenting the village story through history.
