Product development
From an idea to a product ready for production
We take an idea, a sketch or an early prototype and turn it into a designed, tested product ready for production - characterisation, CAD design, engineering analysis and the right material and process.
What you get
A production-ready product
Design, testing and a prototype
- ISO 9001:2015
- Designed for DFM / DfAM
- NDA signed on request
You have an idea. The bridge to production is missing
This was built for situations like these:
- You have an idea or a need, but no engineering design that bridges it to production.
- You have an early prototype that has to become a reliable, producible product.
- The product works, but it is too expensive to make or does not hold up under load.
- You need the right material and process chosen before you commit to tooling.
Exactly what you get
-
Characterisation and requirements
Function, loads, environment and standards defined before design begins.
-
Engineering design in CAD
A full 3D model, with analysis (FEA) where it is needed.
-
Material and process
Matched to loads, volume and cost, including design for DFM / DfAM.
-
A prototype for validation
A physical part to check fit, strength and function before production.
How it works
-
1
We understand the product
What it has to do, in which conditions and at what volume.
-
2
We design and test
CAD, engineering analysis and the choice of material and process.
-
3
Prototype and production prep
A physical part for validation, then an orderly package to carry into production.
A good fit if
- You have an idea or a need to turn into a product
- You have a prototype to strengthen and ready for production
- You need CAD design and engineering analysis
- You want to cut production cost already at the design stage
Less of a fit if
-
The design already exists and only needs a review
An engineering review answers that directly.

Frequently asked questions
Do you design from scratch or continue an existing prototype?
Both. You can start from an idea or a sketch, or bring an existing prototype and turn it into a production-ready product.
How long does product development take?
It depends on the complexity. Once we understand the product we give you a realistic schedule in the proposal.
Does it include a physical prototype?
Yes, when needed. We design, make a prototype and test it before moving to production.
Do you also manufacture at the end?
Yes. We can carry on from design to prototype and production, or hand you an orderly production package.
